We took a journey through Bangalore’s rich history, guided by the ever-engaging Arun Pai, founder of #BangaloreWalks. From uncovering stories of old Bangalore to appreciating the architectural gems hidden in plain sight, Arun brought the city’s legacy to life in the most captivating way.
INBCB gathered for our Annual General Meeting, which was followed by an enriching and thought-provoking event on “Empathy in Leadership”. It was a privilege to host a panel with distinguished leaders Kavita Singh (United Breweries Ltd.), Katja Larsen (SilverSpoon Consultancy), and Soundar Raj (NXP India), where we explored the evolution of empathy in leadership and its critical role in fostering inclusive, empowered teams.
Our member CPI Risk, Finance, and Governance, in collaboration with INBCB and InterNations, successfully co-hosted the event “Connect with Impact.” The evening was a remarkable blend of personal leadership, bonding, and motivation. The event explored the transformative power of personal leadership, offering insights into both life and career.
INBCB board members had the honour of participating in an exclusive meeting during the visit of the Netherlands Ambassador to India, Ms. Marisa Gerards, at the launch of INBA, Chennai. The Ambassador, keen on fostering stronger ties across India had an engaging discussion on building a unified, pan-India networking platform.
The Consulate-General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Bengaluru, Ewout de Wit, hosted a luncheon for our members. The event featured a keynote address emphasising the burgeoning economic ties between India and the Netherlands, and the strategic presence of Dutch companies in Southern India.
We launched the 3rd issue of our magazine in the esteemed presence of Consul General Ewout de Wit, emphasising the significance of business partnerships within the INBCB.
We had the privilege of co-moderating an exciting roundtable discussion with representatives from leading organisations such as Randstad India, Philips Innovation Campus Bangalore, United Breweries Ltd., IKEA India, NXP Semiconductors, and more where we brainstormed innovative strategies to make real progress in diversity and inclusion (D&I).
We kicked off the New Year with a memorable bicycle ride led by Bangalore’s very own Bicycle Mayor, Sathyanarayanan Sankaran. Sathya shared fascinating insights into the city’s rich history, pausing at iconic landmarks like the old Post Office, the esteemed High Court, and the historic first engineering college.
The INBCB wrapped up the year with a delightful event, graced by the esteemed presence of our Consul General of the Netherlands, Ewout de Wit, and the Deputy Consul General of the Netherlands, Anne Cremers. We reflected on the significant events of the past year, and recognised the evolving landscape we find ourselves in.
It was a pleasure meeting H.E. Marisa Gerards. We had an informative and fruitful conversation with her about life, culture, and business as part of the INBCB.
INBCB had the privilege of meeting the Prime Minister of The Netherlands, Mark Rutte, whose Economic Mission 2023 to Bangalore underscored the importance of Indo-Dutch collaborative efforts.
INBCB held its AGM which included a keynote address by Dr. Brinda V from ISRO, with valuable insights into collaboration and partnership in not only space but also in business – a core principle of our mission at INBCB.
In collaboration with Miss-Collect, we witnessed a truly inspiring initiative to transform waste into value, benefiting food security, education, and women’s livelihoods.
Held by Nyāsa Solutions, this free workshop for leaders gave attendees practical tools and techniques to navigate cultural differences and resolve conflicts in a constructive way.
The Consul-General of the Kingdom of The Netherlands, Mr. Ewout de Wit, invited the INBCB for a networking lunch towards building stronger connections as part of the #NetherlandsMeetsBengaluru initiative.
INBCB had the opportunity to visit STCB and witness firsthand the dedication and commitment that Shell has toward creating a sustainable future for all.

On the 18th of July, INBCB board members had the honour of participating in an exclusive meeting during the visit of the Netherlands Ambassador to India, Ms. Marisa Gerards, at the launch of INBA, Chennai. The Ambassador, keen on fostering stronger ties across India had an engaging discussion on building a unified, pan-India networking platform. This initiative aims to strengthen collaboration in business, culture, education, and innovation between India and the Netherlands.
The meeting was followed by a reception. It was a successful evening of dialogue, with INBA members and office bearers from across India in attendance, further promoting Indo-Dutch relations.
